Spider-Man Brand new Day Review

The Doja Room gives ‘Spider-Man Brand new Day’ a 6/10

(spoiler alert 🚨)

AMAZING camerawork, choreography, color palette AND soundtrack. BUT, this was overhyped, lacking a true “villain” character , and spent WAAAAY too much time on Peter and MJ. Personally, who cares if she remembers him or not, I don’t think it had to be like damn near the main plot of the movie. No scene for me screams “train scene in Spider-Man 2”.

The punisher had no real point for being in the movie or this entangled in the plot more than countless other characters who could’ve been in the city/movie, Punisher just seems random atp especially when he’s not doing punisher things.

The situation with his powers could’ve been flushed out a bit more, no real explanation why he can just shoot real webs now or what the hell was up with his eyes.

Then there’s the “villain” who we find out is none other than Jean Grey which I have no problems with but seeing her see some expectations that we would be learning more about mutants in this universe. But if you’re paying attention a lot IS set up.

All in all not a bad movie but I expected more 🤷🏾‍♂️✌🏾
